PODCAST EXCERPT Paul saw Dorothy behind the counter at Dairy Queen and told his friend “That girl could make me a lot of money”. Paul made Dorothy feel special. At 26 he was nine years older than her and began grooming her, bought her nice clothes and took her to his posh apartment. Paul knew Dorothy was his ticket to financial success. He heard Playboy was holding a contest and hired a photographer. The camera liked Dorothy, beautiful, yet naïve. When the magazine’s editor saw the photos he flew Dorothy to Los Angeles. Dorothy became an actress and attended Hollywood parties. While filming in New York, Paul phoned her often. But when he told her he loved her, she didn’t’ say the words back. Dorothy closed their bank accounts and sent a letter to Paul stating they were separated. Paul couldn’t let that happen!
