PODCAST EXCERPT Johnny was his mother's favourite, in her eyes he could do no wrong. But Johnny didn't fit in with the kids. He had been expelled from school and at 18 years-old had plans to go in to the military. On December 3, 1957 snow was falling lightly and Maria wanted to go outside to play. After dinner she met up with her friend Kathy. Their tree-lined street was very dark except for the street light at the corner. There they played a game of hide-and-seek. It wasn't long when a tall slender young man walked down the street and approached the girls and asked if they were having a good time. They replied that yes, they were. He asked them their names and shared that his was Johnny. Kathy's hands were cold so she ran home to grab some mittens. When she returned minutes later, the corner was empty.
VICTIM: MARIA RIDULPH JUSTICE NO MORE Little Maria was seven when a stranger showed up that dark snowy night. It took a deathbed confession and 53 years to convict John. But then an FBI report hidden from trial would change everything they thought they knew.
