Tom
retired,
the
couple
sold
their
home
and
in
October
2002 they set out on their adventure of a life-time.
They
cruised
down
the
Baja
coast,
around
Cabo
San
Lucas
and
out
in
to
the
Sea
of
Cortez.
For
the
next
year-and-half
the
couple
enjoyed
the
sea.
But
then
life
changed,
the
couple
had
been
married
seventeen
years,
Tom
was
now
57,
Jackie
47
and
their
first
grandchild
had
just
been
born.
They
sailed
the
"Well
Deserved"
back
to
Newport
Harbour
for the last time.
They
advertised
it
for
sale
for
$440,000
in
a
boating
magazine.
Skylar
answered their ad.
