PODCAST EXCERPT The   couple   married   in   1994   and   had   two   daughters   Abigail,   Katerina, and   son   Phillip.   Now no one knows for sure exactly what time the next events took place, but prosecutors believe Amy was back home at 11:20am when her cell phone pinged off a tower near their home. And that Daron cut the phone line and pried open a basement window and propped it open with a knife. Amy phoned a restaurant and ordered pizza and paid with a credit card. Daron ate the soft part, but threw a partially eaten crust back in to the box. After Daron got the ransom money he set out to eliminate the witnesses. Blood splattered the walls. Forensic investigators quickly ran DNA testing on the knife handle found in the basement window, and traced it to Daron. And in an interesting twist, who knew they could retrieve DNA from food?
MURDERER: DARON WINT CEMETERIES INSTEAD OF COLLEGES Daron brutally attacked his former boss Savvas and his family, held them hostage overnight and waited for the ransom to be paid. Then he viciously murdered all of them. But his DNA was found in the most unlikely place.
