There he slowly came out of the closet and began meeting men through dating websites. Somewhere Hamid and Bruce crossed paths and returned to Bruce's home. In his bedroom Bruce took photos with his cell phone. Hamid's eyes were closed, he was wearing a fur hat and fur coat and an unlit cigar hung from his mouth. Bruce travelled to Mallory Crescent where he added Hamid's remains to the potted plants. In December police were still publicly discounting the LGBTQ communities fears that a serial killer was preying on them. A police spokesperson said there was no evidence that linked the disappearances. But behind the scenes police received a search warrant to covertly enter Bruce's residence.
