PODCAST EXCERPT Alice was working as a nurse at the hospital when she met 25 year-old Ronald Holtz, a psychiatric patient who was a helicopter gunner in Vietnam. Alice grabbed a 22-caliber rifle from a closet and as Ronald slept, she crept in to the bedroom. She slipped her finger over the trigger and pulled it back. Gerald drove the station wagon to Dickinson Park on the edge of Trout Creek Canyon. He removed the licence plate and pushed the car over the steep embankment. It fell 75 feet downward, then the front wheels turned and stopped it's descent. Gerald panicked when it didn't fall to the canyon floor below. His boat bobbed in the water, and when the depth dipped below 450 feet he rolled the barrels over the edge. The water quickly flowed in to the holes and they sunk below the surface in to the dark unknown.
MURDERER: ALICE UDEN OZARK MOUNTAIN SECRETS Born in an era of tumble weeds and dusty towns Alice was tough. She hid a grisly secret deep in the Ozark mountains for nearly 40 years. But secrets have a way of slowly creeping to the surface. Then there's nowhere to hide.
