PODCAST EXCERPT The sun was setting as Eugene left work driving his brown Oldsmobile Cutlass. Thirty minutes into his 70-mile drive home he was tired and pulled over, locked the doors and fell asleep. John Lewis and his friend, Vincent Hubbard were driving by when they spotted the Olds. Eugene woke up to a sawed-off shotgun banging on his car and a voice yelling at him to open the door. They forced him to lay facedown in the backseat. Vincent sat on his legs, while John slid slid behind the wheel. Eugene could feel the car climbing uphill as his heart pounded and his mind raced. John pulled over. He and Vincent nudged Eugene toward the edge of a cliff. Eugene glanced down and saw the drop off was steep. Then he heard someone say “Shoot him’ . Eugene threw himself over the cliff just as he heard a clicking sound.

VICTIMS: OF PUENTE HILLS DEATH OVER DIAMONDS Eugene woke up to a shotgun banging on his car and John and Vincent yelling at him to open the door. They ordered him over to the edge of the cliff. Eugene glanced down and dove over the edge just as he heard a clicking sound.
