PODCAST EXCERPT Leon dreamt of being a doctor and attended medical school but was repeatedly dismissed from residency programs. After 11 years his marriage to Annie ended when she filed for divorce. Leon harassed and threatened her. She pressed charges and he served probation. Leon then met Meghan Verikas. But during a fight he assaulted her. She called police and moved out. When Leon harassed Meghan, she had him charged. This would hurt his chances of getting his medical licence. Leon met Valerie. She was newly divorced. A veterinarian, she was confident and smart and had amassed a small fortune. Things moved quickly. Within weeks they hired a hitman to take out Mack and Meghan. The hitman instead, contacted police. An undercover officer posed as a hitman and Mack and Meghan posed for photos faking their deaths.
