PODCAST EXCERPT Growing up in Maine, step-brothers Henry and Hubert travelled down two different paths. Hubert joined the Boy Scouts and played football with the neighborhood kids. Henry on the other hand, often skipped school. In and out of prison over the years, 28-year-old Henry moved in with 18-year-old brother Hubert and his girlfriend Tammy. They invited friends Morris Martin and Paul Lindsey to come and stay with them so the four of them could go deer hunting. On Thanksgiving morning Henry loaded his .22 caliber rifle and went hunting with Hubert. Returning they saw Tammy in the living room. Morris and Paul were still asleep on the two sofas. Hubert ordered Tammy to go upstairs. Through a hole in the floor she could hear them talking. Henry said "If you don't shoot him, I'm going to shoot 'em both."
MURDERERS: HENRY LOMBARD & HUBERT HARTLEY THANKSGIVING HUNT Thanksgiving morning was crisp, the leaves dampened by the rain. Perfect for hunting. Henry and Hubert set out with their rifles, but they weren’t hunting just deer. Their prey slept soundly as the rifle bolt slid forward.
