PODCAST EXCERPT Elliot was quiet and withdrawn, rarely spoke more than a word and had few friends. He dreamed of being popular, but had trouble fitting in. He felt “small, weak and worthless” and cried every day. But outwardly he hid his pain. After high school he was disillusioned at how his life had turned out. He never had a girlfriend and wondered it he ever would. When he saw a couple walking hand-in-hand he fantasized about punishing them because their life was better than his. When Elliot turned 19 he decided he would either find love and acceptance, or he’d get revenge on the world that had rejected him. Elliot began writing a manifesto. Going back years he listed his enemies, those he perceived to be living the life he deserved. By the Spring of 2013 and set a date for his Day of Retribution.
