PODCAST EXCERPT Growing up Cynthia’s family were deeply religious. In high school the dark-haired beauty rebelled. She moved in with Doug and they headed west to California. Doug was pulled over by the police and charged with driving under the influence and carrying a weapon. In jail Doug met James Marlow. Cynthia returned home alone to their derelict apartment. The next day James showed up saying that he’d promised to check on her. At six feet tall, almost 200 pounds with dark hair, a moustache and brown eyes, Cynthia found him attractive. The couple became inseparable. On November 7 James announced they were going to rob a girl. He told Cynthia to get dressed up so they wouldn’t raise suspicion. At the mall they spotted Corinna Novis, a pretty young brunette pull up in her white Honda CRX.
MURDERERS: CYNTHIA COFFMAN & JAMES MARLOW DRESSED UP AND READY TO KILL Cynthia left her religious upbringing and went on the road with a felon. Fueled by drugs she and James set out to be the next Bonnie and Clyde, stealing cars, robbing, kidnapping and murder.
